A fictional example

From job inquiry to estimate

Illustration only. This is not a customer story, observed problem, completed engagement, or result.

  1. Job inquiry arrives

  2. Office records the request and checks details

  3. Owner prepares estimate

  4. Customer accepts or declines

The missing-details loop: if location, job type, or photos are incomplete, the office asks for them before the estimate handoff. If the customer accepts, the office offers a scheduling window.

The question to verify

Does the incomplete-details loop create avoidable follow-up, or does it rarely occur? The map alone cannot answer that.

One possible recommendation

If the owner confirms recurring missing details, try one standard intake checklist in the tool already used. Name who checks it before the estimate handoff. A new AI system may not be necessary.

No baseline, trial, reduction, or savings have been measured here. Configuring the checklist, running a trial, or building automation would require a separate decision and scope.

Want to map your own process first? Our free workflow checklist and worked example show how to check the handoff before choosing automation.

A clear boundary around one workflow

Implementation, integrations, system access, customer or employee-data review, and ongoing support are outside this service.

Use blank, fictional, or appropriately de-identified examples agreed in the scope. We do not promise savings or assume your process needs replacing.

You can stop with the recommendation

The map and recommendation are the completed service. You do not have to buy an implementation. Any later improvement has its own scope and decision.

Common questions

What does the $500 price include?

A 45-minute kickoff, one visual workflow map, one practical recommendation with its rationale and limits, and a 30-minute findings review. The review covers one agreed workflow.

How long does the review take?

Delivery is within five business days after kickoff and receipt of all agreed inputs. The exact dates are confirmed in your agreement.

Does my business need an AI system?

That is not assumed. The recommendation might be to keep what works, simplify a manual step, or separately scope an improvement. You do not have to buy an implementation.

Will you access my systems or review customer data?

No. System access and customer or employee-data review are outside this service. Any examples used in the review must be blank, fictional, or appropriately de-identified and agreed in the scope.

When does work begin?

We confirm fit and scope first. Work begins only after the agreement is signed, the $500 payment has cleared, and kickoff is scheduled. Sending an inquiry does not start an engagement.

Start with fit and scope

Which recurring process would you like to understand?

Tell Mike about the process. We confirm fit and scope first. Work begins only after the agreement is signed, the $500 payment has cleared, and kickoff is scheduled.
